Me, the student
Before we get into the nitty gritty (the science), I’ll explain a little about myself! My name is Kate Stuart, and I’m finishing my last semester as a UNC undergrad! I began my education journey as a political science major, which has obviously taken a few turns since that first academic advising meeting. During my time here, I’ve learned my academic passions are geared towards understanding people specifically, which has led me to a major in psychology. Along the way, I picked up the courage to pursue the prerequisites required for post-graduate nursing programs, to eventually achieve my larger goal of becoming a nurse. My passions for interpersonal connection and communication can be explored on many levels, and are impacted in many surprising fields. I am very excited to expand my knowledge in this course to better understand the microbiological level of mankind.
Me, Elsewhere
Outside of the classroom, I’m most passionate about spending time with my friends, my girlfriend, and my bunny named Jay Z. For fun, I enjoy running, reading, and looking at memes, More than anything, I love to laugh and to learn.
